This was a fantastically fun project. I have a penchant for taking on projects with first of technical challenges for me, predominantly because I love it.
I built the holder about two years ago now but it was exciting. It was one of the first projects I had done with the dowel construction and learned some idiosyncrasies with our dowel rod centering jig that have now been fixed. At the time, the slight offsets in height on the stripes were an intriguing aspect of the cnc milling needed for the mustang crest and the stars. Two years down the road it's still an intriguing aspect and making it on my tiny cnc machine was personally impressive. I really enjoyed making this and I hope you enjoy as well.
